OZZY's Son JACK Blames 'Crooked' Airport Workers For Jewelry Theft
March 1, 2005Jack Osbourne has blamed "crooked" airport staff for stealing $382,000 worth of jewelry from his bag after seeing it on an X-ray machine, according to Sky.com.
The 19-year-old reality show star — son of BLACK SABBATH frontman Ozzy — blasted U.S. baggage workers.
The heist is thought to have happened at Los Angeles airport when Jack was boarding a flight to London.
Police reportedly told the 19-year-old star they suspected an airport worker stole the jewellery after seeing it on an X-ray machine.
He has now blasted U.S. baggage handlers, saying: "They're supposed to be on the front lines of national security and they're stealing stuff. It's sickening."
Jack, who had been flying to Britain for rehearsals of a new TV show, "Celebrity Wrestling", which he is to host, added: "I had a lot of jewelry. A Rolex, a Harry Winston watch, a Franck Muller watch, cufflinks and a necklace my dad gave me."
A source added: "Jack feels pretty dumb about the whole affair. All his whole family are upset about it especially after the theft that happened at Ozzy and Sharon's home."
The incident comes just three months after £2 million of gems was stolen from the Osbournes' British home.
